Artisan made, woven by hand in Ecuador where the Panama hats originated. They are called Panama Hats because they became extremely popular during construction of the Panama Canal to keep workers safe from the sun. They are lightweight, flexible and durable. The hats were made in Ecuador and are still woven by hand using the same techniques and materials of the originals.
